What started as a creative outlet for Jillian Ripplinger has lead her to become a creative force in the hair and beauty industry. As a little girl, Jillian dreamed of becoming a hair stylist – she had imagination and vision. She pursued her education at Richard’s Beauty College in Regina, Saskatchewan, graduating in 2008. While in college, she won first place in hairstyling at the 2008 Skill’s Canada Provincial Competition and placed fourth place nationally in Calgary, Alberta. At 18 years old, Jillian was well on her way.
After ten years as a successful hair stylist, Jillian has a full clientele and is known as a creative collaborator in the hair and fashion industry. Her credits include: Backstage hairstylist on Disney’s Musical “Beauty and the Beast” (2013); Global Morning News correspondent showcasing latest hair trends and colours; select Saskatchewan Fashion Week Hairstylist (2014); and assisting on “The Adventure Club” movie set starring Billy Zane and Kim Coates (2015).
With an impressive social media following, Jillian continues to educate herself (and her followers) about hair and beauty trends. In 2017, Jillian partnered with hair extension company, Philocaly Hair, creating educational videos and how-to's for their Youtube channel. Love for her clients, passion for her work, and dedication to her social media followers propelled this hairstylist to the top of her game. Jillian is passionate about her career, but for her, it’s easy -- when you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.
